During the 11th and 12th of March, Pfizer’s CDI organized its first hiring event, giving bright minds living in Greece and abroad the opportunity to unfold their talent and interview for a position at Pfizer. Through this event, they were able to gain a better understanding of Pfizer's career opportunities, while learning more about how new technologies can contribute to a better future for patients.
Candidates had the opportunity to discuss with company executives, network, and attend to engaging tech talks. The event followed a hybrid model, therefore attendance was possible either in person or online! More than 500 people participated, thanks to this hybrid model, exceeding all expectations.
CDI Tech Hiring Days kicked off with opening remarks from Nico Gariboldi, Site Lead Pfizer CDI, who highlighted the exceptional level of talent among its employees, reaching 350 recruits in less than two years, while they have worked on more than 200 global projects for Pfizer.
During the two-day event, more than 30 speakers addressed topics related to Learning & Development, the interview and recruitment process as well as career opportunities in CDI.
With a focus on innovation and new technologies, incited speakers talked about innovative ideas and cutting edge technologies to further advance and develop in the digital space.
Special emphasis was placed on women and the need to strengthen their representation in STEM fields. 35% of the CDI’s workforce are already women and Pfizer is constantly seeking and creating new ways to reach and encourage even more women to start their careers in science.
In parallel, a team of recruiters interviewed candidates who expressed their interest to join CDI. In its search, the CDI was looking for, and successfully found, a number of ideal candidates with the optimum mix between soft and hard skills.
