Quantum Computing 4 Sequence Alignment (QC)

The aim of the QC project is the development of a novel quantum algorithm for the acceleration of the sequence alignment process by significantly reducing its complexity compared to the classical and conventional approaches. The successful application of this solution on a real data simulation in quantum environment depicts its potential to be applied in a wide range of challenges in the healthcare sector.
